E66 update error fix

The E66 is due to you updating your and having a spoofed drive different brand drive using the same dvdkey as the original drive inside the Try powering your on without the dvd drive hooked up and see if you still get the E66 error.

I'm not sure if the update bricks the drive that is in your if it's not the original drive, but you could try to dump the drive with jungleflasher and see if you can get the key. The manufacture date is feb It is not HDMI capable.

The serial number is I live in Windsor Ontario Canada. My problem is that when I try to connect to xbox live with my gamertag blu4life23 it says that I need to update my xbox. After the update The xbox restarts and the message is E66 contact xbox live support.

When I contact support, they tell me that my xbox has either been modified or I used copied games. This cannot be true because, I am the first user of this xbox.

The only modification I did was using an external cooling fan which I plugged into the back. I can still play games on my xbox offline, however I cannot connect to xbox live as my gamertag has been flagged and it tells me to do the update again.

It is my understanding that this security update is flawed. If you could please get back to me with a solution. I would really appreciate it. My DVD is faulty at times.

It makes a LOT of noise which I assumed is normal because the console is really old..
